Job Title: Cafcass – Family Court Advisor
Location: Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Gloucestershire & BANES (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £37.75 per hour
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Family Court Advisor for its client. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement and requires travel across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Gloucestershire & BANES.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a CAFCASS Family Court Advisor, you will:
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of children involved in family court proceedings.
- Provide independent social work advice and recommendations to the court.
- Prepare high-quality case analyses and written reports for hearings.
- Work on cases after the first hearing within public law proceedings.
- Balance remote working with attendance at your local CAFCASS office for team meetings and development days.
- Travel across the region as required.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- At least 3 years’ post-qualified experience as a Children’s Social Worker.
- Strong frontline statutory experience.
- Demonstrable court experience with confidence in giving evidence.
- Knowledge and practice within public law, particularly after the first hearing.
- Current SWE registration and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Flexibility to travel across the region when required.
