Job Title: Occupational Therapist – First Contact Team
Location: Redbridge
Pay Rate: £40 per hour
About the Role:
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to join its client’s First Contact Team based in Redbridge.
What will your responsibilities be?
To be successful in this role, you will
- Assess and recommend major adaptations and complex equipment, including sketches and specifications
- Deliver holistic, person-centred OT assessments, support planning, and reviews
- Manage and progress complex cases independently
- Provide manual handling advice and equipment training in line with legislation and safe practice
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary setting
- Review and evaluate the effectiveness of equipment and care plans
Qualifications & Experience:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Strong knowledge of specialist equipment, major adaptations, and manual handling
- Experience in multi-professional teams and complex case management
- Understanding of social care frameworks and housing legislation
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload effectively
